No, you are not able to choose which city the tour hotel will be in during your tour.
This tour will most often stay in Union City, unless that hotel is sold out during the tour dates.

My question is : On day 3 (San Francisco, Stanford university), are we obliged to return with the tour group, after the free afternoon to go to Stanford University, or are we free to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on our own, and make our own way back to the hotel in the evening ?
