Maid of the Mist is usually operational each year until the end of October; however, it is dependent on weather conditions.
For updates on availability, please check the Maid of the Mist website:

If you book for just the two of you, you will have one room on tour to yourselves.
However, you can book up to 4 people in one room on tour, and take advantage of the buy 2, get 2 people free promotion for this tour.
If 4 people share one room on tour, the 3rd and/or 4th people will be free for the tour, on a shared room basis.

However, breakfast usually costs $10-15 per person, if purchasing it at the hotel or at a local restaurant.

The optional tours should be purchased from the tour guide in cash when you are on tour. For the day tour, guests might not have enough time to visit all the locations due to traffic condition. However, for the night tour, guests will basically be able to visit the locations listed on the itinerary. You can refer to your guide for details when you are on tour.
