From there you can take the free shuttle buses to several lookouts including Mather Point, Yavapai and many others. The three hours allotted to the Grand Canyon also gives you ample time to walk the 2.5-mile Rim Trail. You can stay with the tour group to sight-see or explore on your own. 2018-01-28 17:17:34 Hello Gigi, If you book this tour for a departure before February 28th, the tour will follow the winter schedule in which case, it will not guarantee the visit of 17 Mile instead of Yosemite as this will entirely be dependent on the weather.
