Q: Thank you for your answers. I still have some other questions: - Is the optional in-depth sightseeing tour on Day 2 in the afternoon or around the evening? - How long does it last? - If we don't want to take this optional tour, would we have some free time instead? - Do I have to decide and pay for this optional tour on the first day when boarding? - Does the tour USLA2-110 have the same optional sightseeing tour? - And is it correct that the tour USLA2-110 won't go to Chinatown? 2009-08-03 19:04:35 Hi Kay: The optional sight seeing tours are provided throughout the day. If you wish to have free time, we recommend that take time during the San Francisco In-Depth Sightseeing tour. This tour is conducted normally after the Fisherman's Wharf from noon to mid-afternoon. We recommend that you speak with the tour guide regarding the exact time, as the tour guide's have the flexibility in amending tour schedule should it be required. The tour guide will notify all the guests of the optional tours shortly before the time in order to allow guests to decide and pay for the tour or not. Yes, both tours have the same optional tours. The hotels differ on the tours and certain sights visited. USLA2-110 will also visit Chinatown as this is one the many historic sights that made San Francisco what it is today. Q: Hi, I'm very interested in booking this tour, but I have some questions.. What's the difference between this tour and the USLA2-110 (also a 3 day San Francisco and Yosemite Tour)? I understand that meals are not included in this tour, but do you pick out the restaurants, or can we eat where we want? And is there a possibility to buy cheaper tickets for the Hearst Castle in advance, or online? In San Francisco, do we have a free afternoon, or does the bus take us to each of the places mentioned here in the tour details? If I want to book for September 12 or 16, can I wait until Sept 1st, or will this be too late? And for how many hours will we be staying at the Yosemite Park on the 3rd day, before driving back to L.A.? Thank you in advance for your answers. View answers (1) A: |
2009-08-02 17:56:57 Hi Kay: Thank you for your inquiry. The difference is itinerary on Day 2, the tour USLA5-189 will go to Union city, on Day 1 and Day2 with better hotel standard. The tour guide will bring customer to food court or other places with restaurants. You might choose what you want to have. The Hearst Castle cost $24 per person, it is an optional tour, please pay to tour guide when boarding. There is no free time for both tours, the bus will go to the places which our website shows. We suggest customer to make reservation at least 30 days earlier to secure the seats. On Day 3, the bus will go to Yosemite Park in early morning, and return to LA after lunch. The closest pick up location to your hotel is the Chinatown Senior Citizen Center, 600 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
