Tours4Fun Announces “Best of Summer Travel 2” Photo Contest

Los Angeles based online tour provider Tours4Fun has announced a sequel to their “Best of Summer Travel” photo contest conducted last summer, which was well-received by avid travel photographers. The “Best of Summer Travel 2” photo contest offers an opportunity to the travelers for showcasing their photography skills experimented during a Tours4Fun tour. “After an enthusiastic response to the ‘Best of Summer Travel’ photo contest in 2009, we were eager to add a personal touch to our photo contest in summer of 2010. We wanted travelers who have had a first-hand experience of our tours, to share their most cherished memory that captures the highlight of their vacation with Tours4Fun” according to Jason Hong, Product Development Manager at Tours4Fun.

Travel enthusiasts and photographers interested in participating in the summer travel photo contest are required to register on Tours4Fun website and upload their winning photo taken on a Tours4Fun tour by adding a relevant caption. The photo submissions will be accepted from August 15th 2010 to October 15th 2010. Winners of the “Best of Summer Travel 2” photo contest will be chosen based on the number of votes received from third-party visitors. Participants of the contest are allowed to vote for their favorite travel photo, besides their own. The winner of the contest will be awarded with a free tour that can be chosen from the following packages:

The grand prize winner will be allowed to take a guest on the free tour. The first runner up of the contest will receive a free Tours4Fun Segway tour and will be given a choice to pick from Chicago, Washington, D.C., or Miami. The second runner up will receive an All-Inclusive City Pass and a choice to select among 20 cities. The first and second runner ups are allowed to take a guest on their winning tour too.

The voting for the contest will take place from August 15th 2010 to October 15th 2010. The registered members of Tours4Fun’s Travel Companion program can participate in the summer travel photo contest by simply logging into their Travel Companion profile, and uploading photos corresponding to the tour taken.
