Itinerario

Depart from Wilding Hotels Fairbanks around 12 pm and travel to Running Reindeer Ranch, owned and operated by a local family who are passionate about reindeer. You will meet the cute animals, join an immersive hour-long walk alongside them through a birch forest, and learn about various adaptations that help reindeer survive in the often punishing Arctic.
Itinerary: Fairbanks – Running Reindeer Ranch – Fairbanks (approximately 4 hours round trip)
Clothing Recommendations: Down jacket, non-slip waterproof snow boots, warm clothing (top and bottom), hat, and gloves.

  • The tour is language intensive and requires walking in cold weather.
  • Reindeer on the ranch are tame, but not trained. Please use caution when petting them.
  • Children must be supervised at all times and those under 3 must be in a backpack carrier for their safety.
