Top of the Rock Observation Deck

Known as "Top of the Rock," the three observation decks atop the GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Center offer spectacular 360-degree views of New York City and its famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building Central Park and The Hudson River. Top of the Rock Observation Deck was originally opened as an ocean liner-like deck in 1933 and was closed from 1986-2005 during remodeling of the now-closed Rainbow Room. It also has a audiovisual presentation on Rockefeller Center history.
