Neptune State Park

Located just north of the city of Florence, Neptune State Park runs along the central Oregon coastline. This protected land houses a lovely cobblestone beach, a small forest, sheltered creeks, and a gorgeous evening sunset. The area was named after the Roman God Neptune for the powerful winter waves that run along its beaches. During low tide visitors can walk along the beaches to discover the various tide-pools and sea caves, or rest on the seaside benches to spot whales.
