National Constitution Center

Having the distinction as the only institution created by United States Congress to help people understand and learn about the Constitution, this Philadelphia attraction is divided into three categories - Museum of We the People, Headquarters of Civic Education and America's Town Hall. The museum features hundreds of exhibits, historical documents and live theater performances. The headquarters provides the with public seminars and an information depository for Constitution information while the town hall hosts debates. The center was opened in 2000 in Independence Mall and welcomes more than 800,000 visitors per year.
