Little Italy

Experience Italy New York-style in this Lower Manhattan cultural gem with cobblestone streets, Italian flags and the aroma of home-cooked authentic cuisine. Little Italy is centered on Mulberry Street between Broome and Canal streets and lined with a variety of Italian restaurants, cafes, bakeries and markets. Italian immigrants began populating the area heavily in the late 1800s. Points of interest are Old St. Patrick's Cathedral, the old Police Headquarters Building and DiPalo's Fine Foods. The famous "Godfather" books and movies were set in New York City's Little Italy.
