The 128-acre attraction located in Carlsbad, California is the first theme park opened in the United States by Danish toy manufacturer The LEGO Company. Premiered in 1999, LEGOLAND California now has 60 rides, attractions, shows, restaurants and shops developed for families with children aged 2-12. The park has 22,000 figures made of LEGOs including models of some famous U.S. cities. It includes a 5.5-acre water park that was built in 2010 at LEGOLAND's north end and has 22 LEGO models in it.
