Kennedy Family Grave Site
The grave sites of United States John F. Kennedy, his brother U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy are located in Arlington National Cemetery. The John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame is situated near the graves. Architect John Carl Warnecke designed the site after JFK was assassinated in 1963 and the eternal flame opened to the public in 1967. RFK was buried there in 1968, Onassis in 1994 and Edward Kennedy in 2009.
