Harbourfront

This pleasant Downtown Toronto neighborhood along Lake Ontario features numerous parks and green space, beaches, artisan studios, historic monuments and many festivals. Harbourfront was utilized as an industrial area since Toronto was established in 1834 and presently contains the still operating Redpath Sugar Refinery and the buildings of the inactive Canada Malting Silos. Popular attractions are the Waterfront WaveDecks, HTO Park, Yo-Yo Ma Music Garden, Harbourfront Centre, Ireland Park, Martin Goodman Trail, Queen's Quay Terminal and Captain John's Harbour Boat Restaurant.
