Grand Central Terminal

Also known as Grand Central Station, this Midtown Manhattan railroad terminal located at 43nd Street and Park Avenue is one of the most famous attractions in New York. The site was first opened in 1871 as Grand Central Depot for three rail lines and renovated to become Grand Central Station in 1900. It was redesigned and rebuilt to open as Grand Central Terminal in 1913. The Beaux-Arts architectural gem attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors per day for commuting, dining, shopping, special events and tours.
