Figueira Square

Make your way from Figueira Square, Lisbon's transportation hub. A main bus and tram stop, Figueira Square is next to Rossio Square in Baixa. It affords great views of St. George's Castle and offers plenty of shops and cafes, including a pastry shop that opened in 1829. At its center stands a bronze statue of King João I on his horse.
