Cline Cellars

Located on the first Mission San Francisco Solano site, the family-owned winery property also contains California Missions Museums. Fred Cline, a descendent of Jacuzzi brothers who invented the whirlpool tub, first opened the business in 1982 in Oakley, Calif. before relocating it to 350 acres in the Carneros Region of Sonoma in 1991. Cline Cellars, which specializes in Rhone-style wines and Zinfandels, has a tasting room in a 1800s farmhouse surrounded by ponds and rose bushes as well as two Sicilian Miniature donkeys. It also provides overnight accommodations in suites in its villa.
