Running for 3.5 miles along Newport's rocky shoreline, Cliff Walk allows you an up close and personal experience of the natural beauty of the New England coastline. Designated a National Recreation Trail, the paved portion of the trail passes behind scores of Newport's famous gilded mansions, offering exceptional views of the architecture of both man and nature. An unpaved section of the trail traverses the rugged shoreline, making for a more challenging walk but the views it earns you are simply breathtaking.
