Learn about fish development and watch it happen at this popular Capilano River Regional Park attraction that has more than 400,000 visitors annually. The hatchery was opened in 1971 to raise and release salmon below the Cleveland Damn in the Capilano River. Fish can be viewed in the incubation room, holding ponds, fish trap and on the Fish Ladder. The surrounding park has many trails and picnic areas.
