With snowfall averaging 110 inches a year, it's no surprise this alpine ski resort is one of the largest of its kind in the province of Ontario. Avid skiers can take their pick from 42 runs, 16 chairlifts and 3 freestyle terrains. Resort facilities were recently expanded and now include a sprawling village containing condominiums, hotels, a conference center, restaurants and other shops and services. Blue Mountain Resort is open year round and offers a number of activities during the warmer months, including mountain biking, ropes, the Open-Air Gondola, Mountaintop Segway Tours and the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster.
