The Trans-Alaska Pipeline is owned by Alyeska Pipeline Service Company and was built between 1974-77. It runs north to south from Prudhoe Bay through Deadhorse and Fairbanks to Valdez. The pipeline caused a major economic boost in Alaska and has been featured in several movies.
