A friendly, charismatic wine ambassador leads you to 3 hot spots, where you’ll be welcomed to a reserved table, with wait staff standing by, ready to serve our pre-selected wines and appetizers. Learn how to taste, pair and buy with an intimate group of 12 guests.
Start: Gaslight Brasserie du Coin
Seats you around a Parisian zinc bar, gives you a tasting plate of classic French cuisine, and pours you a couple glasses from their all-French wine list. Psst! There’s free parking in the adjacent lot? Sacre bleu!
2nd stop: Half a block down the street is Cinquecento Roman Trattoria
At 500 Harrison Ave. Enjoy a sampling of salumi and formaggio with two wines from the all-Italian wine list, meant to reflect Roman roots, custom, and simplicity. A leisurely stroll past the bow-fronted, Charles Bulfinch-designed Victorian townhouses, brings you to Tremont Street, the heart of the neighborhood’s art scene, nightspots, and our final destination.
Last stop: Masa
Boston’s original tequila bar, home to an extensive tapas menu, and a wine list showcasing wines from Spain, Chile, and Argentina.
Over the course of a typical public wine tour you will have the opportunity to taste 6 different wines. You will have the equivalent of 2-3 full glasses of wine over the course of the two hours tour.
guests walk short distances within specific neighborhoods. The total distance between all stops varies from neighborhood to neighborhood, but there is never more than 0.8 miles of walking on the tour. We walk at a leisurely pace on easy terrain.
