Summary of The Day: Departing from Phoenix, we'll travel through the Sonoran Desert and on to the magical Red Rocks of Sedona. After your first panoramic overlook, the rest of the afternoon will be yours to hike one of the many trails. Or join us for an optional jeep tour of the seductive backcountry (own expense).
Summary of The Day: Continue your Colorado Plateau ascent on the Grand Canyon Railway, taking you back in time to the days of the Wild West, weaving through the Ponderosa pine forests and alpine tundra, gradually climbing to an elevation 7,000 feet above sea level. You will be given ample time to walk to all the lookout points and browse the local gift shops.

It's a very interesting tour, recommend to anyone in town with a short period of time, the tour covers a lot of places, beside you have your own time to explore the places too. But I don't like the railway, the 2 day bus tour Sedona and Gra...nd Canyon better. All drivers are excellent , both driving skill and history details with a sense of humors. Love the tour very much.
