It's the Golden 50th Anniversary of Disneyland® park-and the entire Disneyland® Resort is celebrating with the "Happiest Homecoming on Earth" The party stretches from the Resort's two incredible Disney theme parks-Disneyland® park and Disney's California Adventure™ park.
In celebration of this golden Disney moment, a pair of exciting, new attractions are being added to each of the Resort's theme parks.
In Disneyland® park, the interactive Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters put you in command of your very own Star Cruiser. Blast away at targets and rack up points as you battle the Evil Emperor Zurg! And later in the year, buckle up for a ride aboard a "re-launched" Space Mountain-the Disneyland® classic is back! And of course, the biggest celebration in Disney history will also feature an amazing new fireworks show, a spectacular new parade, and many more surprises!
Over in Disney's California Adventure's park, play, party and dance with your favorite Disney/Pixar pals in Block Party Bash, the wildest, most interactive parade in Disney history! Groove to fun party songs, delight to amazing acrobatics, and laugh along with the Pixar Film Pals as they explode onto the streets of Disney's California Adventure™ park inviting you to party with them! The energy of this show-stopping, musical parade extravaganza will have you exclaiming ?What a party!?And speaking of parties, the Downtown Disney® District turns any day into a reason to celebrate! Located at the heart of the Disneyland® Resort, the Downtown Disney® District offers entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities for the whole family.
