Day 1 Hometown - New York

The tour arrives in New York City, the most populous city in the United States and the largest city since 1790. Our tour guide will meet you directly at the airport (JFK / LGA / EWR) to transfer you aboard our scheduled group shuttles to the hotel (check-in after 3PM).(Airport pick-up is free only between 9:00am-10:00pm)
You will have the opportunity to explore the wonder of New York City at nighttime with our night tour (optional). This exciting tour will take you through many notable areas. Starting at South Street Seaport, take in romantic views of the City's bridges and skylines flanked by traditional sailing ships and historical buildings. The tour then proceeds to Midtown Manhattan, the City's central business district. We will visit Rockefeller Center, a complex that houses the magnificent Ice Skating Rink (in winter), the Gilded Statute of Prometheus, and the GE Building, headquarters of NBC Studios.
We will also see Fifth Avenue, a strip of luxury shops and businesses that is consistently ranked as the "most expensive street in the world". Finally, we will visit Times Square, an iconic world landmark. At night, the brilliantly lit theaters of Broadway and the huge number of animated neon and LED signs shines brighter than even the stars in the sky.

Optional NYC night (additional $25 fee )(only available on Wednesday and Saturday) tour has limited seating and may sell out. Please try to arrive before 3:30 p.m. and speak with the tour guide regarding the night tour if you wish to take the night tour.
If you arrive in New York early on the first day of this tour, you can enjoy complimentary free time (without tour escort) in Chinatown. After your free time, you can meet your tour guide in Chinatown, 87 Bowery, New York, NY 10002 at 05:00pm. You can also confirm the meeting time and location with your tour guide before you enjoy your free time.

Day 2 New York City Tour ( Full Day)
 Todays full day tour of New York City will begin at Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and then move on to nearby Wall Street and the heart of citys the financial district as well as Chinatown, the largest Asian community in the United States. Next, on a waterway cruise* around New York City harbor, well view the citys magnificent skyline and sights including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge. We will visit Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, mecca of the fashion industry and luxury brand retail stores. And no tour of New York City would complete without a trip to the top of the Empire State Building*, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. Additional visits will include the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum*, the glorious Metropolitan Museum of Art*, which contains many of the most famous works of art in the world, and finally, the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world.

Day 3 New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C.
 Depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets along Independence Mall State Park. See the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center and stroll through the centuries old Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. From Philadelphia, we continue to explore America's proud past by sightseeing at America's seat of governing power -the Capitol Hill and the White House.
These two magnificent buildings are home to the Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States. The tour then proceeds to the National Air and Space Museum, featuring the original 1903 Flyer plane designed by the Wright brothers, the Spirit of St. Louis flown by Lindbergh, and actual spacecraft such as the Apollo 11 command module. We then head to the Lincoln, and Jefferson Memorials, where we can honor these notable past presidents. All of these memorials are lined with stunning decorations and the stirring words of these great American heroes. We will then pay tribute to our modern heroes in the armed forces by touring the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorial. The Vietnam Memorial, designed by Maya Lin, is a simple yet touching site containing a monument inscribed with the names of lost and fallen soldiers. The Korean War Veterans Memorial is equally inspiring, capturing the tension and uncertainty of war on faces of the fighting forces.

Day 4 Washington D.C. - Hershey's Chocolate World - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls
.jpg ) From Washington D.C., for Hershey, PA-the sweetest place on Earth! Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how chocolate is made, see the Hershey's characters in person, and even try the delicious food and desserts. We then head to the Corning Glass Center, featuring over 30,000 objects from every era of glass-making, including real glass-making on-site. Visitors can see the fragile art of glass-making. You will witness firsthand craftsman and artisans handily working superheated glass into delicate decorative pieces. Afterwards, we depart for American portion of Niagara Falls, to see the majestic views of nature up close. It is important to note that Niagara Falls, consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls, features spectacular views in the nighttime, and cameras are a must!

Day 5 Niagara Falls - Boston
 We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls to see the majestic views of nature up close. Hop on a boat-ride on the Maid of the Mist (seasonal) where you can "soak" in the excitement and see the power of the Falls up close. We will also be heading to the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls where you can experience Niagara Falls' incredible stories, and see the most complete collection of barrels that have fallen down the mighty Falls. The tour then proceeds to in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to visit downtown Boston and Quincy Market. Situated between Boston's financial district, the waterfront, North End, Government Center and Haymarket, the vibrant Quincy Market is one of America's oldest gathering place. There will also be an opportunity to partake in Boston's most famous export-the lobster-during dinner.

Day 6 Boston - Rhode Island - Boston
 We will take a city tour of Boston in the morning, beginning with the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious places of higher learning in the world. The tour will continue to Boston Common, a 50 acre park in the heart of the city and the oldest park in the United States; Trinity Church with its beautiful interior that features over 21,500 square feet of murals and stained glass windows; and the glass-covered John Hancock Tower, the tallest structure in Boston. Season and weather permitting, we will take a harbor cruise* to observe Boston's working port and examples of extravagant waterfront living. Next its on to yachting hotspot Newport, Rhode Island, where we will visit the Breakers Mansion*, the opulent former summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II that was built at a cost of approximately $150 million in today's dollars. As we make our way back to Boston, well stop to visit the Mayflower II, a replica of the original vessel that carried the Pilgrims on their harrowing journey from England to America to escape persecution in the 17th Century, and Plymouth Rock, traditionally celebrated as the site where they landed. Our tour returns to Boston in the evening.

Day 7 Boston - Home or Boston - New Haven - NYC - Home
.jpg ) In the morning, we will tour the USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat, which will be narrated by an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy. We will also visit the nearby WWII destroyer, the USS Cassin Young, which was active in the Pacific arena during the war. (Passengers who choose to finish the tour in Boston will not visit Yale University.) After lunch, we will visit the beautiful campus of Yale University in New Haven, CT. A member of the Ivy League, it has produced famous alumni such as Presidents William Howard Taft, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. We will then make our way to New York, where, time permitting, we will tour the eclectic SoHo, Chinatown, and Little Italy neighborhoods. Our tour will conclude in the afternoon, when we will transfer you to an NYC area airport for your return flight home.
For people departure from Boston, Please book the flight after 1:30pm. The tour will be at the Logan airport at around 11:45am.
For the NYC airport, please book the flight after 7:00 PM. The tour will be at the airport at around 5:00pm. |
