Day 1: Los Angeles - Las Vegas
Summary of The Day: Your journey begins when you depart from Los Angeles in the morning and make your way to the luxurious city of Las Vegas. You will arrive in Las Vegas by the evening and check into the hotel; after checking-in you can enjoy the rest of the night at your leisure.

*Please meet your tour guide at the Excalibur Hotel "Group Check-in Counter" by 3:30 p.m. located at 3850 Las Vegas Blvd,South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Excalibur Group Check-In Counter is located at the main level of the hotel rear entrance. It will be on your left-hand side of the rear door.) We have a desk set up in Excalibur near the group check-in desk in the back left-hand side of the main floor. Our employee will assist you with the check-in process after 3:30 p.m.

Day 2: Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park
Summary of The Day: Today you will depart from Las Vegas in the morning and visit arguably the two of the most scenic National parks in Southern Utah: the Zion National Park and the Bryce Canyon National Park!

Zion National Park
Zion National Park: Utah's first national park that was established in 1919 contains a wide variety of canyons, mountains, cliffs, rivers, lakes, natural arches, buttes, mesas, forests, deserts, wildlife and parts of the Grand Staircase in its 229 square miles. Zion National Park that was originally home to the Anasazi Native Americans nearly 12,000 years ago and many artifacts of ancient life have been discovered there. Park highlights are Zion Canyon, Temples and Towers of the Virgin, Horse Ranch Mountain, Angel's Landing Trail and The Subway. It has seven trails, three campground areas, more than 1,000 plant species, 207 bird species and 67 different mammal species.
Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park: The Southwest Utah 52.6-square-mile recreation area is acclaimed for its wondrous natural spires called hoodoos that were created by limestone erosion and vary in spectacular colors. Bryce Canyon National Park established in 1928 was named after pioneer Ebenezer Bryce and also contains rock arches, parts of the Grand Staircase, 13 view points, eight hiking trails, two campgrounds, more than 1,000 plant species, 100-plus bird species and many mammals including the endangered Utah Prairie Dog. The park's clean air quality allows guests visibility as far as 200 miles and the darkness of the night sky gives spectators the chance to see as many as 7,500 stars.

Day 3: Bryce Canyon City - Arches National Park - Moab
Summary of The Day: Today, you will further explore the beautiful Bryce Canyon City. Later, you will travel to Moab, Utah and visit the beautiful Arches National Park. You will even have an opportunity to hike the famous "delicate arch" in the late afternoon hour!

Arches National Park
Arches National Park: This 36,359-acre Utah national park situated along the Colorado River features more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches including its most photographed Delicate Arch. Arches National Park's landscape has been forming and changing for millions of years. It was made a national park in 1971 being previously named a national monument in 1929. Points of interest are Delicate Arch, Wolfe Ranch, Courthouse Wash Panel, Elephant Butte, Courthouse Towers, The Organ, Fiery Furnace, Balanced Rock and Landscape Arch. The book "Desert Solitaire" was written by author Edward Abbey from his journals during his time as a park ranger.

Day 4: Moab - Monument Valley - Canyon De Chelly - Petrified Forest National Park
Summary of The Day: Today you will visit Monument Valley, which is considered one of the most photographed places in Southwest America. There you will have a chance to take the exclusive Monument Valley Jeep Ride (admission not included; optional). You will also visit Canyon De Chelly; followed by a visit to Petrified Forest National Park which contains some of the largest and best-preserved petrified wood sites in the world! The combination of Petrified Forest and Painted Desert provides us with an extraordinary diverse fossil record that cannot be found elsewhere!

Monument Valley
Monument Valley: The stunning region on the Colorado Plateau if often filmed and photographed to portray the American West and was a favorite movie shoot location for director John Ford's many Westerns. Monument Valley features an artistic mix of colorful red sandstone formations up to 1,000 feet tall, vast desert lands and scenic horizons. The majority of it is within the 30,000-acre Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park created in 1958 and is located on the Utah and Arizona border. Monument Valley notable landmarks are the former Goulding Trading Post, Totem Pole, King on His Throne, West Mitten Butte, Three Sisters, The Hub and Rain God Mesa. The area also is near The Four Corners Monument.
Canyon de Chelly National Monument
Canyon de Chelly National Monument: The 83,840-acre monument located on Navajo Nation land in Northeast Arizona contains three canyons and archaeologists have identified monument remnants of human existence dating back to more than 4,000 years ago when the Navajo and Anasazi people lived there. Canyon de Chelly National Monument was designated in 1931 with the National Park Service and Navajo Nation working together to manage it. There are 40 Navajo families living within the national monument that also is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Points of interest are Spider Rock, Mummy Cave, White House Ruin Trail, North and South Rim Drive and the Visitors Center.
Petrified Forest National Park
Petrified Forest National Park: Fossils from the Late Triassic period have been discovered in this 146-square-mile captivating Arizona national park that was named for the petrified wood that can be found throughout it. Petrified Forest National Park was established in 1962 after it was made a national monument in 1906. It has a wide variety of wildlife and seven hiking trails. Points of interest are the Painted Desert Visitor Center, Rainbow Museum, Puerco Pueblo, Jasper Forest, Newspaper Rock and Blue Mesa.

Walnut Canyon National Monument
Walnut Canyon National Monument: The 400-foot deep canyon near Flagstaff, Arizona runs 20 miles long and contains 25 ancient cliff dwellings built by the Sinagua Native Americans. Walnut Canyon National Monument was established in 1915 and created from erosion by Walnut Creek about 60 million years ago. The 3,600-acre park site contains a visitor's center, museum and several trails. Canyon wildlife includes 69 species of mammals, 28 species of reptiles and amphibians and 121 species of birds.
Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park: This 1,904-square-mile national park established in 1919 spotlights the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon - one of "The Seven Wonders of the Natural World" and nearly 2,000 million years old. Grand Canyon National Park consists of the natural wonder's North, East and South Rim with the latter attracting the majority of the tourists with its viewpoints, lodgings, services and activities. You will travel back to Las Vegas in the afternoon, where you will stay overnight.
