The train is scheduled to depart at 15:00 PM (please arrive at the train station at least 1 hour in advance). The train passes through Kamloops and Shanhe Town in Western Canada. Enjoy the beautiful mountain and river scenery for the 800 kilometers train journey. You will spend the night on the VIA train with the default seat ticket (sleeper or cabins can be upgraded, there is no guide service on the train).

Jasper Railway Station: Expect to arrive at Jasper Railway Station around 11:00AM.

Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes, and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies.

VIA train will be arriving in [Jasper National Park] a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site around 11 am. Guests will check-in at Jasper hotel. Enjoy and spend a wonderful night in Jasper.

You can add-on activities in the afternoon at your choice.

Today, we will drive along [Icefields Parkway], National Geographic magazine has voted it as one of the most beautiful scenic highways on the planet. This breathtaking drive blends jaw-dropping views with pristine wilderness. Pass by the snow-capped mountain peaks of [Crowfoot Glacier]. Following the visit to [Bow Lake], the lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Shortly after, we will come to [Peyto Lake], a must-see lake in Banff National Park for its unique maple shape or vibrant blue glacier-fed water. (If the attraction is under maintenance or other force majeure, we will go to Waterfowl Lake as an alternative attraction) After that, we will arrive at [Columbia Icefield] and experience the stunning beauty of [Athabasca Glacier], the largest and oldest icefield in North America. For an unforgettable trip into this region, take a ride of [Ice Explorer - Snowcoach], and a glass-bottomed [Skywalk] for thrill-seekers.     • Trains can be upgraded to upper berths, lower berths, one-person compartments and two-person compartments. Prices are subject to change at the time of booking.     • In the event of an accident or force majeure, including but not limited to: VIA Rail Dispatch, temporary closure of airports or stations, temporary cancellation of transportation companies, weather, transportation control, etc., that cause cancellation or postponement of flights and trains, we will do our best to assist you with a solution.
      - If the train is delayed for more than 5 hours, you may choose to wait for the train or cancel this section of the itinerary.

    • In the Rockies, there can be large temperature differences between morning and evening. The average daytime temperature in summer is 25 °C, and the average night temperature is 15-18 ° C. Please prepare clothes appropriately.
    • In the Rockies, there's ample sunshine and usually high levels of Ultraviolet rays (UV rays) that may cause sunburn, so proper sun protection will be needed. The region has a dry climate and body lotion is one of the must-haves when traveling.
    • When encountering wild animals, feeding is prohibited; In the case of large animals, do not leave the vehicle and approach.
    • Smoking is strictly prohibited in hotel rooms and throughout the hotel. Violation of the rules will result in a fine of $300 CAD or more.

      4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
