Vatican City may be the smallest country on Earth, but with nine miles of invaluable artwork kept in more than 2,000 rooms, a visit can be overwhelming, especially during the day when the museums are open to the public. Indulge in a guided tour of one of the most important museums in the world, led by a local expert on a Friday night.

The tour starts with a special dinner at an exclusive location inside the Vatican City: the Giardino Quadrato, for a meal overlooking St. Peter's Dome. Designing unique activities so that our customers can experience once-in a-lifetime events is our passion at Tours4Fun.

After dinner, you will be led into the Vatican Museums, a preeminent place in the history of human civilization. Get to know the art collections of the various popes acquired throughout the centuries. Look out for renowned sculptures and masterpieces of the Renaissance. Feel the weight of history and get a sense of the sacred as you spy paintings by Raphael, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, and Michelangelo, including his masterwork, the Sistine Chapel.

  • Entrance into religious sites requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. We cannot be held responsible for refused entry due to improper dress.
  • This tour involves a fair amount of walking and stairs; comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
  • Non-flash photography is permitted throughout the tour, except in the Sistine Chapel, where talking and photography are prohibited.
  • To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your tour. The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks. Any such items must be checked into the free luggage storage area which may result in your having to leave the tour early to retrieve them at the entrance.

* Tour prices are based on Euros (EUR) and converted into US dollars (USD). Constant fluctuations in the exchange rate cause prices to change on a regular basis. You will be charged the price based on the applicable exchange rate at the time of payment. All transactions are final. We do not offer discounts or compensation to those citing lower prices at a later date.

    1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
    2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
    3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
    4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
