The 58-story mixed-use skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan's Columbus Circle was developed by famous real estate tycoon Donald Trump, who has a residential condominium there along with some other notable residents. Trump Tower, officially called Trump International Hotel and Tower, was designed by architect Der Scutt and opened in 1983. It contains hotel and residential condominiums, offices and retailers as well as a television studio where the NBC show "The Apprentice" was filmed.
