This hotel that used to be known as the Sahara Hotel & Casino is set to open in late 2014 following a $415 million renovation. The Sahara closed on May 16, 2011 and its roller coaster was removed. SLS Las Vegas plans are 1,600 rooms, four night clubs, a casino, three restaurants and a Fred Segal clothing store.
