Radio City Music Hall was designed by Edward Durell Stone with its Art Deco interior done by Donald Deskey and opened in 1932 within Rockefeller Center. Its name is derived from its first occupant of The Radio Corporation of America. Throughout the years, it has hosted famous acts, awards ceremonies, television programs, film premieres, sports games and holiday shows. Radio City Music Hall is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
