About New England Air Museum

The New England Air Museum is proud to present the history of aviation in all of its fully-restored glory. The museum currently houses more than 80 aircraft and an extensive collection of engines, instruments, aircraft parts, uniforms and personal memorabilia. Among the expertly restored aircraft are a B-29 Superfortress and the Silas Brooks Balloon Basket (1870), believed to be the oldest surviving aircraft in the United States. The cockpit tours, flight simulator, science demonstrations and other interactive media keep the whole family engaged while teaching kids the basics of flying.
