The Los Angeles seven-building cultural institution is the biggest art museum in the western portion of the United States with more than 100,000 art pieces ranging from modern to ancient time periods. Established in 1910, Los Angeles County Museum of Art contains a vast collection of Asian and Latin American art. It welcomes approximately one million visitors per year. LACMA is part of Museum Row with La Brea Tar Pits, Craft and Folk Art Museum, Petersen Automotive Museum and A+D Museum.
