About London Bridge

This iconic 930-foot bridge now located in Lake Havasu City was deconstructed in London, shipped to the Arizona city and rebuilt on a Lake Havasu peninsula in 1971. The London Bridge was bought in 1964 by Lake Havasu City founder Robert P. McCulloch, Sr. for $2.46 million and it is located above a canal running from Lake Havasu to Thompson Bay. The bridge was designed by John Rennie and originally built in 1831 across the River Thames.
