About Kutna Hora

This historical town 37 miles east of Prague is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Throughout the 14th and 15th century, Kutna Hora was the heart of Bohemia – economically, politically and culturally – due to the town’s prosperous silver mining industry. The medieval town is home to the gothic Church of St. Barbara, built by wealthy miners during the late 1300s.
