This 242-acre Royal Park of London runs adjacent to Hyde Park and was originally the gardens for Kensington Palace. Kensington Gardens began as part of Hyde Park and was separated in 1728 for Queen Caroline and then landscaped by Charles Bridgeman and Henry Wise to features many gardens and a pond. Notable sites within the park include Kensington Palace, The Albert Memorial, Peter Pan Statue, The Italian Gardens, Elfin Oak, Diana: Princess of Wales Memorial Playground, The Allotment Garden and The Serpentine Galleries.
