The Karl Marx House is a museum set in the house of Karl Marx, where he was born in 1818. Karl Marx was a German philosopher, journalist, revolutionary socialist, that is most known for coining the term and philosophy of Marxism. The house is currently used as a museum, displaying some of Karl Marx former possessions and writings, and it is also a museum for Communism. The building has been a museum since 1947, and continues to relieves about 32,000 visitors a year.
