About Holbrook

The city of Holbrook, Arizona was founded around the year 1881, around the time the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad was built . The city was named after the first chief engineer of the railroad project; the station was later replaced by the Santa Fe Depot in 1892. The city is also located east of the Petrified National Park, located on Navajo and Apache counties.
