About Hammond Castle

Hammond Castle was built between 1926 and 1929 and is located on the Atlantic coast in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The castle was the home and laboratory of inventor John Hays Hammond Jr. The castle is currently known as the Hammond Castle Museum which display's Hammond's inventions and various collections. The castle is reminiscent to 15th and 16th architectural design.
