About Great Pyramid of Giza

Egypt is steeped in the mystery and intrigue of Ancient History. The oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering El Giza, Egypt, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain mostly intact. Serving as the burial place for Pharaoh Khufu, Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built as a tomb over 10 to 20 years, finally being completed in approximately 2560 BC. A visit to the Pyramid is a once in a lifetime experience, and definitely one for the bucket list.
