The historic ballpark is the oldest in Major League Baseball and home to the Boston Red Sox. Fenway Park opened in 1912 in Boston's Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood and has been renovated and expanded several times throughout the years. Its nicknames include "The Cathedral of Boston" and "America's Most Beloved Ballpark." Fenway Park having a night game capacity of 37,493 is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
