The Edison and Ford Winter Estates are former winter homes of inventor Thomas Alva Edison and industrialist Henry Ford. The estates consists of a historical museum and botanical gardens located on the adjacent sides of the winter homes. The estates were first built in 1885 and bought by Thomas Edison; Henry Ford bought the adjoining estate in 1916.
