The Walt Disney World destination boasts to have the largest wave pool with six-foot high waves and to be the most visited water park in the world. Opened in 1989, Typhoon Lagoon features Bay Slides, Castaway Creek, Crush 'n' Gusher, Gangplank Falls, Humunga Kowabunga, Keelhaul Falls, Ketchakiddee Creek, Mayday Falls, Shark Reef and Storm Slides. The resort has plenty of places to dine and buy souvenirs as well as Craig Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surf School offering surf lessons.
