About Air Mobility Command Museum

This museum in Dover, Delaware is dedicated to aviation history. During World War II, the building that is now the museum was Hangar 1301 at Dover Army Airfield. Here 4146 Base Unit worked in secret to develop rockets. In the 1990s, the hangar became the Air Mobility Command Museum. It contains thought-provoking historical exhibits and planes dating back to the 1930s.
