5-Day Rockies Winter Premium Tour from Vancouver: Kamloops, Banff and Golden

The Canadian Rocky Mountains are stunning at any time of the year. Still, there's something magical about visiting in the winter when the mountains are covered in a blanket of glistening snow. The entire region becomes a true winter wonderland surrounded by snow-capped mountains, frozen lakes and dense frosty landscapes. It's the perfect setting for an array of winter activities.
This special 5-day tour includes 2-nights in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the town of Banff. You will enjoy many spectacular sites on the journey to the Rocky Mountains and will have ample free time to try exciting winter activities like skiing/boarding at Lake Louise Mountain Resort or ice walking, or you can sleep in after a big night out on the town and enjoy the shops and sights of Banff. The transportation for this Premium Tour is a deluxe mini-coach with a smaller group size of up to 34 passengers maximum.
Day 1: Vancouver - Kamloops
• 8:00 am- Depart Vancouver from Canada Place (please arrive by 7:45 am).
• The fun begins! Your friendly Tour Guide will begin with introductions and games so you can meet the other passengers. Hear interesting facts about Vancouver as you make your way out of the city and into the mountains!
• Enjoy a number of sights along the way, including the scenic Coquihalla Highway, Bridal Falls, and Canada's desert!
• Stop in Kamloops for lunch.
• Visit the BC Wildlife Park (admission included).
• Experience wine tasting at a local winery.
• Check in to your beautiful riverside accommodations.
• Enjoy a group dinner followed by a campfire and s'mores (popular Canadian campfire treats).
Day 2: Kamloops - Banff
• Breakfast at your hotel (included).
• Depart the hotel in the morning.
• Drive through the beautiful snow-capped peaks of Mount Revelstoke National Park & Glacier National Park.
• Visit Roger's Pass National Historic Site.
• Visit Emerald Lake.
• Explore Lake Louise! Optional ice skating (seasonal).
• Continue the drive to Banff. Once in Banff, enjoy a driving tour of the world-famous town.
• Check into your hotel in Banff.
• Free time to go shopping on Banff Avenue and try one of the many restaurants.
Day 3: Banff
• Breakfast in the hotel.
• Take a scenic sleigh ride through a winter wonderland (included).
• Option to take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola (additional cost).
• Option to participate in an exciting winter activity like snowshoeing, ice walking or skiing/snowboarding at Lake Louise Ski Resort.
• If you are not participating in an activity, sleep in and enjoy a free day in Banff.
Day 4: Banff - Golden
• Breakfast in the hotel.
• Option to go skiing or snowboarding for the day, participate in another exciting winter activity, or enjoy the day at leisure.
• Depart Banff in the afternoon for Golden.
• Check into your Golden hotel - free time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel's pool & hot tub.
Day 5: Golden - Vancouver
• Breakfast in the hotel.
• Depart Golden.
• Stop at Craigellachie (the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway).
• Enjoy entertainment, movies and games.
• Return to Vancouver at approximately 7:30 pm.
