I loved visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto—it’s even more beautiful than photos can show. The red torii gates are unforgettable.

Nara deer park was charming and fun. Feeding the deer and walking to Todai-ji temple was a great day trip from Kyoto.
