Advertised as hotel pickup but there is none. I am 68 yrs old and this tour was not within my capabilities. The Bus would let us off and picked us up very far from the point of interest. The walk, 10 minutes or more, to the point of inte..rest was mostly up hill with a lot of steps. Not good if you are not fit and stable on your feet. As a 12 hour tour it was too much walking from the bus to where we were going. The time spent at our destinations was too short. If the bus got closer then we could spend more time at the actual destination. Tour guides were very good.Read full review

My husband and I had a great experience in this tour. Our guides are excellent and knowledgeable. We suggest that lunch be scheduled earlier, if not - make sure let tourist know to bring some snacks during travel. Very well organized. Highl..y recommend this.Read full review
This tour was great for someone like me and my wife, who had never been to Italy. We got to see a lot in a short amount of time. We could now make the choice to go back and stay longer in the places we'd like to see more of. Of course, the ..nature of that is also its drawback in that it was exhausting and at times we could hardly remember what we'd seen. I thought the accommodations were good on most nights; some better than others. I would have appreciated more time in Florence versus other stops. Our tour guide, Roma, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, personable, and a lot of fun. I would tour all of Europe with her and our driver, Giuseppe, who was so helpful and polite. Overall, this was a great value and I definitely recommend it to those who want to see a lot in a short period of time.Read full review
I did not think it was possible to squeeze in so much of Italy into 10 days, but Expat Explore managed it...and it was a WONDERFUL introduction to this gorgeous country. I would definitely book again.
