Tour was good not to bad. Accommodation is good. Its the discomfort we had because we are not allowed yo use the bus washroom and we have to hold our pee for 2- 3 hrs travel till we reach our next stop/destination. Need to improve food ..selectikns. Chinese buffet for lunch and dinner in same day. Last lunch we had was very bad. Other than that everything is ok.Read full review
Not enough time in several places. Bus driver was always late and made the group move to be picked up when space for the bus existed. Hotel in Porto was too far from the city center.
we had a great time. the tour was well organized and our tour guide Marina was the best guide we ever had. very friendly and well knowledged. gave us great tips where to eat and where to go. she made our days delighfull. Please make sure to.. tell her that. thanks.
the only negative thing is that the bus was vey uncomfortable. no leg rooms between seats.Read full review
Kimberly, tour guide, and Mikey, driver, knew how to coordinate the tour so that we were able to see all of the attractions according to the itinerary. Hotel accommodation was decent with a mini-fridge and microwave in room, except for the ..last day. Very basic breakfast was also provided. The tour guide didn't pressure us to buy her meal plan, but we did that for our convenience. She actually told us in advance that we might not like certain meals with the group, i.e. a traditional Chinese dinner; therefore, we would be able to go on our own. It's a good idea to include a French dinner and a Canadian lunch in the itinerary. However, due to the volume of tours arrived at the same time, the restaurants were too overwhelmed. The food was not good and service was not acceptable. We could tell a bad attitude from local patrons as well as workers at the establishments toward us. We would suggest the tour operator to adjust the schedule so that there wouldn't be so many tour buses stopping at the same place at the same time. We saw 12 big tour buses, the 50+ seaters, had already parked at the Thousand Islands when we arrived. We were lucky that everyone on our tour this time was courteous and on time. Only a few individuals had a bad habit of pushing, yelling, taking too much compartment space that belong to someone else's seats, and using the toilet on the bus that caused a very bad odor. Overall, we would recommend this tour to those who want to see many attractions on a budget.Read full review
