Los Angeles-based tour retailer Tours4Fun has just announced their biggest contest yet. Their $2,500 Dream Getaway Pinterest Contest is the newest in travel Pinterest contests, awarding the grand prize winner with their ideal getaway with Tours4Fun. The contest will run now until September 15, 2012 and the winner will be chosen based on creativity, aesthetic, and representation of the Tours4Fun brand.

To enter, people need to simply follow Tours4Fun on their Pinterest account and create a pin board entitled "Tours4Fun Dream Getaway." From there, they need to pin 10 pictures and explain why they would be part of their dream getaway. Entrants are encouraged to use hashtags and promote the Tours4Fun brand, although this is not a requirement to enter. Entrants must submit the URL of their pin board onto Tours4Fun's submission form. They can work on their board until the contest judgment goes on in mid-September.

Since Pinterest requires an invite for new users, Tours4Fun has informed newbies to e-mail them at contest@tours4fun.com to receive one.

Pinterest is a new social network that acts as a visual bulletin board for people looking to get inspired, make a wish list, or just get their fill of eye candy. Tours4Fun's boards include things like "Inspirational Travel Quotes," "Date Ideas," "Exotic Places You Only Dream About," to name a few.
