TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT: Wonderful Ligurian coast. Pisa. Train to Cinque Terre.
Today we continue our journey towards PISA. On a little tourist train we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one, the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa. After this we head to the Ligurian Coast, with some of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. We will visit the CINQUE TERRE which has been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. It comprises of five villages, almost isolated by road, which live on fishing and tourism. Given the difficult access by road, we go by train, with a ticket to VERNAZZA, which maintains its appearance of a citadel, with its outstanding Church of Santa Margarita built in 1318, overlooking the sea. Time to take some lunch. Afterwards we travel by train to LEVANTO, where we re-join the coach to continue to GENOA.
Note: The train to Cinque Terre is a regular local railway service, not a tourist service. Sometimes the trains are full (it is not possible to book places on these trains) so it might be necessary, on occasion, to travel standing and not seated.Meal

Special Notes- Airport pick-up details will be confirmed after placing a booking. We strongly recommend booking your flight after the tour has been confirmed.
- Alternatively, you may join the tour at the hotel on Day 1.
- The tour leader will not be present during evening transfers to commercial districts in major cities. These transfers are included in your package, and give you the opportunity to dine in restaurants that cater to your dietary preferences, as well as the chance to explore the city further. You will be given about an hour of free time, after which the driver will take you back to the hotel for the evening. Please note that the driver may not be able to offer suggestions on where to find vegetarian or ethnic meals.
- Each passenger is allowed a maximum of 30 kg for luggage. The local operator may refuse to accept excessively bulky luggage.
- Please bring all valuable items with you at all times. Do not leave valuable items on the bus or at the hotel, attraction, or restaurant. Tours4Fun, local operators, drivers, and tour guides are not responsible for any loss or theft at any location.
- Depending on your arrival time, your hotel room may not be available until the afternoon. Most hotels allow check-in between 1:00pm-3:00pm, however some charge a fee for early check-in. Please check at the hotel desk to see if you may store your luggage at the hotel if you wish to explore the city on your own before check-in.
- The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
- This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Upon booking your tour or activity and after receiving confirmation, you will be issued an e-ticket detailing the local operator's name and contact information. If you require assistance finding a specific tour, please contact us for more information.
- If at any point you were to suffer a delay arriving to the meeting point (held during customs check, loss of luggage, etc.), missing a connecting flight or your flight number was changed, you must urgently contact the transfer agent or the emergency phone number that you can find on your travel voucher. In case you failed to notify this information, the transfer agent, after waiting for 1 hour, in the case of airports and 30 minutes in the case of train stations, would leave and you would lose any right to the transfer service. In case you have also requested a departure transfer, please verify with your guide the schedule for our pick-up time on the day of your flight.
- Please provide your arrival flight information or pickup details at least 7 days prior to the departure date. If you don't provide the information in advance, you will be responsible for failing to arrange the arrival pickup.
