You'll have 90 minutes to immerse yourself in the season's splendor. Glide gracefully across the ice on your newly rented skates, take a leisurely stroll to admire the breathtaking scenery, or marvel at the intricate ice sculptures that add a touch of artistry to the landscape. If you prefer, warm up with a steaming beverage as you soak in the serene beauty that surrounds you. Moreover, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy the magical surroundings.
In addition, please remember to dress warmly and comfortably for the weather. The Canadian Rockies in winter can be quite cold, so layered clothing, warm hats, gloves, and sturdy boots are essential to ensure you stay comfortable and enjoy your adventure to the fullest. That way, you can fully experience the beauty and excitement of this incredible winter wonderland.
As the day continues, we'll then head to Johnston Canyon, a true winter paradise. To help you fully enjoy and safely explore the area, we'll provide ice cleats and hiking poles.
Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore this magical landscape at your own pace. To begin, wander along the snow-covered trail to the enchanting Lower Falls, where you can pass through a natural cave to catch a mesmerizing view of the frozen waterfall. Continuing onward, you'll reach the impressive Upper Falls, where a towering pillar of ice rises 30 meters into the sky. The shimmering icicles and tranquil winter atmosphere create an unforgettable scene. Moreover, with a bit of luck, you may even spot ice climbers scaling the frozen walls. In addition, if you ever need anything or wish to return early, our cozy shuttle will always be nearby, ready to welcome you back with hot drinks and a warm seat.
After an unforgettable day exploring the wintery wonders of the Rockies, finally, we'll comfortably return you to your original pickup locations, leaving you with warm memories of an extraordinary adventure.
Optional Add-ons for an extra cost: A lunch box with your choice of sandwich, chocolate chip cookie and fruits. Please keep in mind that we require 48 hours notice for sandwich orders.

Pickup details: The tour commences in Canmore, with subsequent pickups in Banff. To ensure a smooth and timely start to our adventure:
Please be in the lobby 10 minutes before your designated pickup time. This will help us avoid any delays and ensure everyone is ready for the tour.
Banff Guests: Your pickup will occur approximately 30 minutes after the tour's commencement time, allowing for the travel time from Canmore to Banff. Similarly, please be in the lobby 10 minutes prior to your pickup time to ensure a smooth process.
End Point: Finally, as our majestical and adventure-packed 8-hour tour ends, you will be safely dropped off at the original meeting point.

Moreover, we reserve the right to refuse boarding if an individual doesn't wear the proper clothing for the activities/tours.
* We highly recommend making reservations well in advance to ensure your spot, as our tours typically reach full capacity at least 48 hours beforehand. It's important to note that our driver does not accept walk-ins.
* Rest assured, you will receive an email containing your booking confirmation. Additionally, we'll keep you informed about the tour, including any updates or changes if necessary. A friendly reminder will be sent 24 hours before the scheduled activity.
* We extend a flexible cancellation policy to enhance your peace of mind. For our shared shuttle tours, you have up to 3 days prior to the tour to cancel without 10% penalty.
* Canoe rentals are accessible every day from 9:00 to 5:30 during the summer months. However, please be advised that there is typically a substantial waiting list, so it's recommended to plan accordingly.
* For an enjoyable day, we recommend bringing along comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. Dressing in layers will help you adapt to any changes in the weather. Feel free to also pack snacks and drinks for your convenience.
* While our shuttle tours involve brief walks, factors such as high altitude, cold temperatures, dehydration, or unfamiliar food could impact your experience. It is advisable to consult your doctor for any necessary vaccinations or up-to-date travel information before embarking on your adventure.
* A Discovery Pass or a Banff National Park Pass is mandatory for all visitors throughout their stay, as stipulated by Parks Canada. These passes can be conveniently purchased online, at Parks Canada's park gates, and at information centers in Banff and Lake Louise. * We strongly advise acquiring travel insurance for all our guests exploring Canada. Accidents are unpredictable, and lacking adequate coverage could potentially pose financial challenges. Your peace of mind and financial well-being are of utmost importance to us, and having the appropriate travel insurance ensures that you are safeguarded against any unexpected incidents during your journey.
* It is a shuttle tour, guided by our seasoned experts. With a wealth of knowledge about the areas, our experienced drivers stay with you throughout the day, offering valuable insights and guaranteeing an enriching and unforgettable experience.
* Our sightseeing tours offer a fantastic chance for families to delve into the breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Rockies together. Our group tours have a minimum age of 8 years and all ages are welcome for our private tours/transfers.
* Safety stands as our utmost priority, ensuring the well-being of our young ones is imperative. As per regulations, children under the age of 6 weighing 18 kg (40 lbs) or less must be secured in an appropriate child safety seat. If possible, kindly bring your child safety seat. In the event you cannot, we do have a limited supply. Please reach out to us in advance to secure one for you. For children sitting on your lap, you do not need to purchase a ticket. While we do not recommend it, we leave it to the discretion of parents or guardians.
* Wildlife encounters are abundant, showcasing elks, deer, moose, big horn sheep, Pikas, bears, and various other wild animals within the National Parks. However, their sightings are unpredictable, and although our drivers make every effort to pinpoint them, we cannot guarantee such encounters.
